A FEMALE police officer was hospitalised following an attack at a property in Galashiels.
Two teenagers who admitted assaulting officers during the disturbance will be sentenced next month.
David Scougall, 18, of Gala Park Court, pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to a total of five offences at his Gala Park Court home on July 5 including kicking two officers on the body.
A 16-year-old female, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted charges of struggling violently with two police officers and also assaulting a female constable which resulted in the officer being hospitalised.
Sentence was deferred until September 12 for background reports, including a restriction of liberty assessment, to be prepared.
