COMEDIAN Geoff Norcott will perform in the Borders later this year as part of his new tour.

Norcott – who has appeared on a number of popular shows including Mock the Week and Question Time – will take to the stage at Melrose Corn Exchange on Friday, May 20.

He will be showcasing his new show ‘I Blame the Parents’, with tickets available for £15.

A Live Borders spokesperson said: "Raised on a south London council estate by two maverick parents, there’s plenty he has to sift through.

"His dad was a trade union man who obsessed over stocks and shares. His mum was a closet chauvinist and far too frank on the subject of sex.

"All of which has made Geoff an unusual and brilliantly funny comedian, and in this show he casts his unique comedic eye over his most diverse range of subjects yet.

"Not to be missed if you want to enjoy a night of top class comedy in the Borders."

Doors will open at 7pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm.
