THE public has been invited to help recognise individuals or teams at NHS Borders who have made a positive impact on their lives.
Is there an individual or team who have looked after you or your loved one who you feel have gone the extra mile and you would like to see recognised?
If the answer is yes then you can nominate them for an NHS Borders Celebrating Excellence award, nominations for which are open now.
Karen Hamilton, chair of NHS Borders said: “Providing excellent patient care is what we strive to do every day. Our staff work incredibly hard to support the people of the Borders when they need us and it is so important that we recognise their hard work and dedication.
“I am pleased that, after four years, our annual Celebrating Excellence awards are back following the pandemic.”
Nominations are open now and will close at midnight on Sunday, January 14. To nominate go to www.nhsborders.scot.nhs.uk/celebrating-excellence-awards
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, April 19.
