TWO BBC reality stars are set to join an exclusive Borders event for people in business.

Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore are the entrepreneurs behind Aquarius Creative – Scotland's leading social media influencer agency – and stars of the BBC's The Agency: Unfiltered.

The duo will join a Borders College campus in Galashiels for the 'Social Media for Business: What's Going On' event, organised by McGowan Marketing.

Amy, one of Aquarius' directors, said: "We're thrilled about our upcoming visit to Galashiels next month for the event hosted by McGowan Marketing.

"Our aim is to inspire fellow businessowners through our talk, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to connect with all the attendees during the networking sessions.”

The social media event will take place on Valentine's Day, and will give local business owners a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights from social media experts.

Amy and Kirsten will not only share their journey of creating their business, but there will also be a workshop where participants will engage with local Borders marketers.

The event will focus on unlocking the potential of the 'big six' social sites – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter).

Emily McGowan, owner of McGowan Marketing, added: "We are thrilled to host Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore as part of a morning of inspiration and practical insights.

"The Agency: Unfiltered has captivated audiences, especially with season two airing this month, and now our local community can learn from the real stars behind the scenes.

"Attendees will not only discover the secrets to social media success but also have the opportunity to connect with seasoned marketers who understand the unique landscape of the Borders."

By joining the morning event, Borders businesses will have the chance to "elevate their social media game", connect with other local entrepreneurs and meet industry leaders.

McGowan Marketing hopes it will be a morning of "inspiration, education, and networking".
